2. Purpose

These Terms and Conditions of Sale (T&Cs) define the booking and stay conditions for the gîte and guest rooms at Les Favouilles. Any booking implies full and unconditional acceptance of these T&Cs.

3. Booking

Rental requests are made via our website, email, or phone.
A booking is confirmed only after receipt of the deposit.
Prices are stated in euros (VAT included) and may include cleaning fees and additional services.

4. Prices and payment

Prices are those in effect at the time of booking and include all mandatory taxes.
Accepted payment methods: bank transfer, cash. Bank details are provided at booking.
Mobile payment apps such as Wero, Lyf, or other unsecured mobile payment methods are not accepted.
Deposit (30% of total amount) is non-refundable in case of cancellation, except under special conditions.
Remaining balance must be paid no later than upon arrival.

5. Cancellation and changes

Cancellation by the guest:

More than 60 days before arrival: full refund of the deposit.
Less than 60 days before arrival: deposit is non-refundable.

Booking changes:

Any changes (dates, number of guests) are subject to availability and at the owner’s discretion.
Changes do not affect deposit refund conditions.

Cancellation by the establishment:

If the service cannot be provided (force majeure, unforeseen works, safety issues, etc.), the establishment will refund all payments or offer an alternative date.

6. Arrival, departure, and deposit

Check-in / check-out:

Check-in: between 4:00 pm and 7:00 pm
Check-out: before 11:00 am
Late arrival or early departure does not entitle guests to a refund.

Security deposit (gîte):

A €300 deposit is required to cover potential damages.
It may be paid in cash or by bank transfer.
It will be refunded within one week after departure if the accommodation is returned in good condition.

Guest obligations

Guests must respect the premises and house rules.
Serious or repeated breaches may result in immediate termination of the rental without refund.
Any damage must be reported immediately.
Pets may be accepted for the gîte or camping only with prior approval from the owner.

7. Liability

Children remain under full responsibility of parents/guardians, especially around animals.
Guests are responsible for any damage caused.
The establishment is not responsible for personal belongings left on site.
The establishment is not liable for injuries or accidents on the property.
Guests must have personal liability insurance.
In case of force majeure, no liability applies, but alternatives or refunds may be offered.

8. Personal data

Data collected is used for booking management.
Under GDPR, guests may request access, correction, or deletion by contacting: lesfavouilles@laposte.net

9. Applicable law

These T&Cs are governed by French law. Any dispute will be handled by the competent courts after an attempt at mediation.

TERMS AND CONDITIONS OF SALE – GUEST ROOMS

1. Purpose

These T&Cs apply to guest room services at Les Favouilles.

2. Booking

Booking becomes effective upon written confirmation (email) and payment of a 30% deposit.

3. Prices

Prices are in euros, VAT included, and include:

Overnight stay
Breakfast
Bed linen and towels
Access to shared areas

4. Arrival / departure

Check-in: 4:00 pm – 7:00 pm
Check-out: before 11:00 am
Late or delayed arrival must be agreed in advance

5. Payment

Payment accepted: cash and bank transfer.
Nearest ATMs: Forcalquier and Manosque.

6. Cancellation

By the guest:

More than 60 days before arrival: no charge (deposit rules may apply)
Less than 60 days: first night or deposit may be retained
No-show: full stay is due

Early departure:

No refund for shortened stays

7. Stay conditions

Rooms are located in a lived-in house. Guests must respect:

Peace and quiet
Private areas of the owner
Safety rules

Only registered guests are allowed access.

8. Shared spaces

Shared spaces must be used respectfully.

9. Liability

Guests are responsible for their belongings.
The establishment is not liable for loss, theft, or damage.
Children remain under parental supervision.

10. Animals

Animals may be present outdoors; interactions are under adult supervision.

11. Insurance

Guests must have liability insurance.

12. Acceptance

Booking implies full acceptance of these T&Cs.

13. Law

French law applies.

The camping activity is independent from the main establishment.

2. Purpose

These T&Cs define camping booking and stay conditions.

3. Booking

By email or phone
Confirmed after deposit payment (see section 4)

4. Prices and payment

Prices valid at booking time
Payment: bank transfer or cash only
Deposit: 30% non-refundable (unless otherwise agreed)
Balance due on arrival

5. Cancellation

60 days: refund of deposit
<60 days: deposit retained
Changes subject to availability
Force majeure: refund or alternative date

6. Arrival / departure / deposit

Check-in: 4:00 pm – 7:00 pm
Check-out: before 11:00 am
€150 deposit may apply for full site rental
Refund within 7 days if no damage
